After embarrassing the Jaguars on their home turf, things are looking good for Jeff Fisher and the Tennessee Titans. Vince Young has been on-target, Chris Johnson seems to be finding more daylight, and the defense has been dominant. What more could you ask for?
Speaking of VY, Jeff Fisher had some pretty good news for the fans today when he said there was a "pretty good chance" that Vince will play. Which is great, because it seems as though Vince is finally preforming to the consistent play that is expected of a first-round pick.
Chris Johnson had back-to-back games with 100 yards rushing for the first time this season, a good sign that he is coming back into form. He's just in time to, I was just about to call him out for all his poor performances this season.
The defense has been one of the most legit in the NFL, as well. The proclaimed "No-Name Defense" has had one of the top pass rushes to this point (something we lacked last season). Also, rookie corner Alterraun Verner has been spectacular and has had a pick in two straight games (in the absence of starter Jason McCourty).
Let's hope the guys can keep it up this week against the Eagles. Go Titans!
